Psychotherapy – Practical information

Initial session and process

The initial session lasts 50 minutes and is subject to a fee.

It serves as a space to get to know each other, clarify your concerns, and explore whether working together in psychotherapy seems appropriate. If you decide to continue, we will agree on further appointments and define together which topics and goals should be in focus.

The length of a psychotherapy process depends on your questions, aims and personal situation. It can range from shorter support over several months to longer‑term, in‑depth work.

Fees

For individual psychotherapy, the current fee is:

  • 95 € per session (50 minutes)

Fees for sessions held are invoiced monthly, with payment requested within 14 days by bank transfer.

The initial session is settled at the end of the hour; by prior arrangement, payment in cash is also possible.

If your financial situation requires it, I can offer a limited number of reduced‑fee places. Please feel free to mention this in the initial session.

Setting and frequency

I work with adults in individual psychotherapy.
The frequency of sessions is agreed individually. For a continuous process, weekly or biweekly appointments have proven helpful; in certain phases, a higher or lower frequency may make sense.

Cancellations

Agreed appointments are binding.
If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance. For later cancellations or no‑shows, the full fee will be charged, as the appointment cannot be offered to someone else at short notice.

Confidentiality

Everything you bring into the therapeutic space is treated confidentially. As a psychotherapist in training under supervision, I am bound by the legal duty of confidentiality according to the Austrian Psychotherapy Act.

If it appears helpful to exchange information with other professionals involved in your care (for example your GP or psychiatrist), this will only take place after prior discussion with you and with your written consent.

Only in situations where there is an acute risk of harm to yourself or others am I legally obliged to take protective steps and, if necessary, pass on information.

GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® – Practical information

Individual sessions and fees

GYROTONIC® sessions at mashrooom take place 1:1  and are tailored to your individual needs.

  • 50 minutes: 95 €

  • 80 minutes: 140 €

Payment is usually made by bank transfer after the session. Alternatively, fees for sessions held can be invoiced monthly, with payment requested within 14 days.

GYROKINESIS® – Group classes

GYROKINESIS® group classes can be booked online.
You can purchase a class pass and then use your units directly via the website, reserving your spot in advance.

  • a GYROKINESIS® group class (60 minutes) costs 35 €.

Groups are intentionally kept small and limited to 3–4 participants.

The small group size allows for an attentive atmosphere in which each person can be seen and has enough space for individual guidance.

5‑class pass: 150 € (valid for 12 months)

Setting and process

At the beginning, we clarify your intentions, physical conditions and goals. Based on this, we shape the work on the equipment so that it is both structured and responsive to your current state.

GYROTONIC® can serve as an ongoing practice as well as a time‑limited support, for example in periods of change, increased strain, or after injuries (provided this has been medically clarified).

Frequency

The frequency of sessions is agreed individually.
Regular appointments (for example weekly or every two weeks) or more intensive phases in blocks are both possible. For a noticeable development in movement organization and body awareness, a certain regularity is helpful.

Cancellations

Agreed appointments are binding.
If you are unable to attend a session, please cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled time. In case of later cancellation or non‑attendance, the full fee will be charged, as the slot can no longer be offered to someone else at short notice.

Important note

GYROTONIC® is a form of movement and bodywork and does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment. If you are unsure whether GYROTONIC® is suitable for you at the moment (for example after injuries, operations or in the context of existing medical conditions), please discuss this in advance with your treating physician.
